When you register/subscribe for any program with MDTA you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions.
This includes individuals training using any MDTA training including but not limited to any physical training or non-physical training programs.
Training Terms & Conditions
Training Terms & Condition are applicable to any MDTA training environment, including and not limited to private training sessions and any online training programs.
Privacy Policy
MDTA is committed to protecting your privacy as a participant of our training courses and programs and the confidentiality of any personal information that you may provide us with during your dealings with MDTA. Modern Defensive Tactics Australia abides by AU law of privacy policies and complies with its provisions to ensure that any data you provide is treated accordingly.
Risk of Injury & Consent
AGREEMENT CLAUSE: There is a risk of injuries, associated with participation in any physical contact scenario. The risks may increase in activities involving physical contact, or with the interaction with moving objects or other individuals. The risks include, but are not limited to: injury to the head, neck, or spine; injury to the muscular or skeletal systems; injury to internal or external organs; loss of or damage to sight, hearing, or teeth; loss of income, career opportunities, or the enjoyment of life; pain; and scarring or disfigurement. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANT to know his or her own general state of health and well-being, and therefore to be able to certify knowledgeably that he or she is physically able to participate in a MDTA training environment. This also includes any use of external equipment where an individual undertakes training using their own equipment or a third parties training equipment.
FULL MEMBER PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
AGREEMENT CLAUSE: All ongoing physical training sessions where you register as an MDTA member and attend a physical training centre you must pre-pay for the training sessions by Direct Debit and all Direct Debit payment are charge 1-month in advance. Full terms and conditions are agreed upon when registering.
ONLINE PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
AGREEMENT CLAUSE: Each online training course/session/program must be pre-paid before you will receive access to the online training environment. Once payment has been made and cleared you will be given access to the training environment. Payment can be made via Direct Debit, PayPal, Credit Card or EFT depending on the training program/session. Only once payment has been cleared prior to the training, will MDTA fulfill its obligation to provide access to the training environment.
Online Training Programs
ONLINE TRAINING AGREEMENT CLAUSE: Where an individual is undertaking an MDTA training program via online services such as video instruction or live interactive video, there is also a risk of injuries, associated with participation in any physical contact scenario and when training in your own environment or a third party environment with no direct instructor intervention. Where any physical training is undertaken the risks may increase in activities involving physical contact, or with the interaction with moving objects or other individuals. The risks of training via online services such as video instruction or live interactive video, include, but are not limited to: injury to the head, neck, or spine; injury to the muscular or skeletal systems; injury to internal or external organs; loss of or damage to sight, hearing, or teeth; loss of income, career opportunities, or the enjoyment of life; pain; and scarring or disfigurement. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANT to know his or her own general state of health and well-being, and therefore to be able to certify knowledgeably that he or she is physically able to participate in any MDTA online training.
LEGAL & MEDICAL ADVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Any information contained in any MDTA training program or environment including but not limited to an MDTA approved training Center, third party facility or via online services, is provided for information purposes only and should not be construed as legal/medical advice on any subject matter.

Any information covering law or legal information in any MDTA training program is presented for information purposes only. You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of any content included in and MDTA program without seeking legal or other professional advice. The contents of any MDTA program contains general information and may not reflect current legal developments or address your situation. We disclaim all liability for actions you take or fail to take based on any content in this program.
YOUR AGREED CONSENT
By continuing with my Registration/Subscription for training in an MDTA training environment, third party environment or via online services, I certify that all information I have provided is accurate and acknowledge that falsified information may result in suspension from the MDTA training program or subscribed services. I understand and agree that by registering/subscribing I am agreeing to all terms and conditions of this training, including, without limitation, that I have supplied all relevant information relating to my medical fitness to participate in the training. I also agree that I fully understand that where there is a physical component to this training that I will signify my recognition of the possible risks involved and give my informed consent to participate including any use of third party training equipment. I also understand and agree that by registering/subscribing I am agreeing to all legal and medical advice information terms and conditions of any MDTA training program.

By accepting this agreement, I am also agreeing that I have read all the above information and understand its contents.
